“Homeobotanicals are not herbalism or homeopathy but are an extraordinary combination of the two healing disciplines which work on the physical and vibrational

What are homeobotanicals and how can they be used?
Homeobotanicals were developed by naturopath and homeopath Brian Murray in the early 1980’s. Herbal tinctures were (and still are) very expensive, which encouraged Brian to produce a range of formulas which have evolved into a powerful, synergistic blend of organic herbal remedy combinations in liquid form. The remedies are dynamized and selectively chosen to target specific organs and systems in the body.
These remedies are very effective, as not only do they treat specific acute or chronic health issues, but they assist in cleansing toxins from the body and help it to function more efficiently. Cleansing toxins helps bring the body back into balance, which supports the organs so that we can regain health safely and naturally. The potentised herbal mixtures can be taken in brandy, or mixed into creams, gels, wax, and oil for topical use. Homeopathy and flower essences can be added for additional emotional support.
To create a homeobotanical formula, one can use up to five of the formulas depending upon the health issue. Formulas are mixed with brandy and water in a 25ml bottle, and are suitable for all age groups, including babies and the elderly. Depending upon age and sensitivity, the drops are taken three times a day. For those taking medications, such as immunosuppressants or blood thinners, only very minimal doses can be given, and it is always best to ask your health specialist before taking.
Homeobotanicals work extremely well with homeopathy, therefore I often prescribe them as well as a homeopathic remedy. The homeobotanicals are made up of very small doses of the herbs I have mentioned in the successful formulas below:
Fungal Toenail Gel.
My husband has suffered from fungal infection of his toenails for years, even after visiting a podiatrist who used laser technology. When I visited the Homeobotanicals expert in the UK, she prescribed a gel for him which has been exceptional, his nails have grown back pink after a few months and remained that way. The gel needs to be applied 2-3 times a day, and the toenail filed and cut once a week. I now order the herbal remedies from the UK, which include Usnea, Lichen barabata, which is a herbal anti-biotic and fungal formula; along with Propolis Myrrh and Chaga, which are anti-viral and anti-ulcerative remedies. We sell the gel formula in the clinic.
Cough and Cold
There are so many different coughs and colds that these are best prescribed along with a homeopathic remedy. Individually prescribed homeopathic remedies are always the best solution but prescribing an additional homeobotanical remedy can really help. There are general homeobotanicals for coughs and colds as well, which include herbs such as Astragalus, Elderflower, Hyssop, Nasturtium, Ribwort, Thyme, and Yarrow.
Eczema Gel
The eczema gel is a simple formula, and I have found it to be very healing for children and adults whose eczema is not severe. The formula includes herbs such as Calendula, Golden seal, Chickweed, Comfrey, and Red clover.
Prostate Enlargement (Inflammation)
Homeopathy if individually prescribed may help benign prostate issues, however, many of my patients have asked for remedies for their husbands, who are reluctant to talk in detail about their issues. I have found that there are a few different combinations for helping the prostate, and I have now treated four individuals with age related prostate issues, all of whom have noticed a significant difference when taking the formula. Some of the herbs in this formula contain Buchu, Corn Silk, Crataeva, Dandelion, Juniper, Chaste Tree, Epilobium, Hydrangea, Nettle, Siberian Ginseng, Tribulus, Bladderwrack, Echinacea, Withania, and Licorice.
Osteoarthritis
Quite a few people suffer from this complaint, which can be very painful, and although surgery can help in some instances, often the surgeon will not recommend surgery if the case is not extreme enough. I have prescribed a formula which helps to assist the joints and the ease the pain. The formula contains herbs such as Black Cohosh, Devil’s Claw, Sarsaparilla, Turmeric, Garlic, Mistletoe, Pau d’Arco, and Red Clover.
Sleep/Insomnia
There are many reasons for not being able to sleep, however, I have put together a sleep mix which, although not individualised, can really help. It needs to be taken twice (30 minutes apart) before turning out the lights. The mixture includes herbs such as Californian Poppy, Rhodiola, Withania, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Pasque Flower, Passionflower and Lime flowers.
Weight gain
There are many reasons for weight gain, overeating is an obvious cause, but for those that exercise and try to eat well but cannot lose weight, then there can be issues which include the liver, gut bacteria, the thyroid, and insulin (as well as emotions). As this is a large subject, I will only mention the liver, as when it comes to burning fat, the liver works endlessly to help us excrete fatty substances, including stored body fat. It also guides our metabolism, cholesterol, and estrogen. Our lifestyle choices influence how efficiently our liver works, but the ones which interfere with fat burning the most are alcohol, caffeine, trans fats and sugars. There are many herbs which can assist with detoxifying the liver but taking a break from the above-mentioned substances for a month will help our liver to work more effectively.
The homeobotanicals for weight gain include herbs which help both the liver, pancreas, thyroid, and adrenals. To name a few of the herbs in the formulas, the liver herbs include Barberry, Bupleurum, Dandelion, Globe artichoke, Schisandra and St. Mary’s thistle and for the pancreas Fenugreek, Licorice, Blue Flag and Gymnema.
