What are our priorities in life?
It seems we have forgotten what the most important things are in our lives: family, friends, health, truth, freedom. I have seen a lot of disconnection recently. It is likely, we have all seen families breaking apart, friendships being destroyed … intolerance, bullying, manipulation, hatred, threat …. And the list keeps going … Because one doesn’t accept another’s opinion and choices. There’s no understanding, or empathy, no acceptance. It seems there is no love any more.
There is a whole lot of of judgment and bullying all around us. Please let’s keep our judgment to ourselves. Let’s develop more compassion for one another. We all deserve to be respected the way we are. Everyone deserves to be understood and loved. However, many are suffering, many are finding it difficult to accept and understand when others have different thoughts from themselves.
The importance of empathy?
Why is empathy important? The indices of suicide, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, fear, mental health issues have skyrocketed. In this oh so crazy pace of life, we have started to allow our focus to drift outside of ourselves. This is why some people lack empathy. We have started to focus on material / tangible things, and we have stopped or forgotten to focus on our inner self. We have stopped or forgotten to invest time and love in our relationships, we have stopped or forgotten to invest time and love in our loved ones, and look where we are now: ‘torn apart’; devastated by the enormous emotional, mental, psychological, physical, socio-cultural damage. And this has all been created by external factors because we ALLOWED this to happen.
Many are used to superficiality, to gossip, and they seem happy with that. I believe this is because they haven’t developed empathy or maybe they don’t know how to interact with others on a deeper level. They are so embedded in the same thoughts, emotions and behaviour patterns that continue to reproduce the same results repeatedly. I believe this is because they haven’t developed a self-consciousness to realise that they are the only ones responsible for their changes and personal growth. They haven’t reconnected with themselves yet; once they reconnect to their essence, there’s no other way except the TRUTH. This truth I’m talking about is the Divine Truth, the only truth, which is in everything and in every being!
In general, we do not know the truth because we are used to behaving in a way where we can be accepted. We learn to hide our true emotions, feelings and thoughts and demonstrate what society expects of us. In this way, we have learned to live disconnected from our body, from our essence and we have gotten used to living the reality created by others and not our own. Practicing sincerity sends us deeply within ourselves because it requires us to develop self-perception and a more assertive way of expressing ourselves in the world.
What does freedom mean to you?
We are running crazily (unconsciously) after something, which we can not identify. Trying to achieve something that it is not our desire, but what society wants from us. We have created a very sick society, where people have become controlled by fear and by what the system told us to believe in. We live in a society where everything has taught us what to do, what to think and even what and how to feel. The existence of social media shapes our needs, and our desires; to make us feel wrong and that we don’t belong if we don’t follow their model, template for being human. Look at many teenagers ….They are totally lost; they don’t know who they are.
Therefore, we can end up living as if we are lacking something; fearful, anxious, unhappy, and unfulfilled. As we become anxious, we disconnect from ourselves and start experiencing separation. The perfect combination to be easily manipulated by what society wants from us. However, we don’t have to be victims or act like one. Regardless of what environment and culture we were brought up in, we must take responsibility for our choices and actions.
Freedom of choice is up to each of us
Who is the person you want to be and what environment do you want to live in? We are beings of free will, we do not have to follow what has been imposed on us. And for that, we must rely on self-awareness and awareness as whole (Divine Truth) and, from there, we discover love. Once we discover love and our truth, we become free to be the creator of our own reality. The power is always within!
What life do you want to live?
What life do you want to create?
Don’t live or make a decision based on fear
Many continue to reproduce the same emotions and behaviours as their ancestors. People are trapped in that way of thinking, feeling, and behaving usually based on fear. You’ve got to ask yourself What are we reproducing? What emotions and behaviours are we repeating?
Fear carries a very low frequency; it’s a limiting belief. We become numb and don’t respond to situations wisely. Belief systems can be passed on over generations and then society becomes more fearful as each person adds their emotions to the field. If we vibrate in this energy, we attract more of this to our life and we emanate it into our surroundings. Therefore, people feel this energy too and soon we are all involved in this low energy web. We are highly likely to become what we experience in our surroundings and reproduce this as a reality.
Everything happens in an incredibly subtle manner as it occurs in an unconscious mode, like a trance/ hypnosis. Many don’t perceive (consciously) how they behave; they just follow the given path; they are taken by the swell. Only as individuals are we able to deconstruct the beliefs that don’t serve us anymore and create those that will raise our energy and help us to create the life we want to live. What kind of world would you like to live in?
Time for a deep transformation
This moment in life is bringing a range of emotions to all. Facing our feelings/ emotions can bring pain, and nobody likes this feeling. We have the power of choice; we can’t avoid the pain, but we can choose not to suffer. Once we consciously observe that our same thoughts, emotions, and behaviour patterns reproduce the same results over and over again, it’s easier to change.
What beliefs you need to change and evolve?
When we accept ourselves with all the emotions we have, it’s easier to understand ourselves and how we function, therefore we can change the way we express ourselves in the world, which will automatically change the outcomes. I see this moment in life as a perfect time to surrender our deep self, to get to know and accept ourselves. When we allow room for inner peace and nourishment of the soul, we create a space for the healing process.
There is always an opportunity to become a new self.
Accepting us as we really are and others as they really are, opens ways to transformation. Perception is the key for changing, and self-acceptance is the key to profound transformation. We need to return to our origins and give value to what really matters: respect, empathy, loyalty, compassion, caring, love, freedom of expression, acceptance, and inner peace. Our happiness, our peace, our love, our beauty can only be found within; and we are all beautiful and amazing beings!
Own your strength, own your truth!
The power is always within, the love is within, the peace is within, the happiness is within!
