The Tao of Homeopathy (Watson)

Product Details
Author: Watson

Just holding this book in your hand gives you a feeling of what is to come when you start to open the pages and read it. You can't help stroking the cover. Visually it is a beautiful little hardcover book but there is so much more here than pretty looks. It is intended to serve as a link between the philosophies and practices of homeopathy and taoism. It is hoped that something of the magic of homeopathy may be glimpsed through the perspective of taoism, whilst the ancient wisdom and wit of the taoist sage may, in the guise of a homeopath, find a new audience. It is also the authors intention that something of the essence of homeopathy might be conveyed through these pages in a way that non-homeopaths will grasp, perhaps more readily than homeopaths themselves.

"............................. in progress. It is the mechanism by which the body wisdom asserts itself and communicates its needs. The homeopath understands that .................... is never static. It is a dynamic process, always changing from moment to moment..................... is also a process, never a singular event." From page seven.

Some words have been deleted by the internet.

It is a beautiful gift for a friend who is a homeopath and for a friend who is not.

Illustrations: Rana Chalabi. Rana is a Syrian/Lebanese artist who has lived in Cairo for over 32 years. She is a visionary artist whose work reflects her varied interests but is dominated by her interest in movement, both physical and spiritual. Sufism is her abiding love and her wide brush strokes in this book reflect that passion.

An illustrated handbook linking the philosophies and practices of homeopathy and taoism. Essential reading for homeopathic students and practitioners, this book serves to remind the reader that it is not what we do so much as where we do it from inside ourselves that determines the outcome. An uplifting meditation on the homeopathic art as viewed through the lens of ancient taoist wisdom. Twentieth anniversary softcover edition.
