Description: Oregano essential oil comes from the Oreganum vulgare plant, native to Europe and used medicinally since the ancient Greek and Roman civilisations. It is also used widely as a culinary herb. The name oregano comes from the Greek, ‘oros’ meaning mountain, and ‘ganos’ meaning joy or delight, as it is a pretty flowering plant that grows on the mountain sides.Nature’s Shield oregano oil is certified organic and sustainable and is steam distilled extracted, stored in air-tight amber glass containers preserving its naturally derived qualities.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Uses: Can be used for oil burner, massage with carrier oil, lotion, soap-making etc. Makes a powerful germ-fighting addition to homemade cleaners (dilute in a spray bottle and use to clean surfaces).
