My first experience of bioresonance
The back story: October 2010
When my second daughter was born, all was well. Just a couple of months later, she was covered in eczema from head to toe. She was hot, itchy, cross and uncomfortable in body and soul. I tried everything including homeopathy, spiritual healing and conventional treatments for several months with only limited results. I knew that my pregnancy had been stressful so there was some emotional trauma in the aetiology and there was an inherited predisposition as I had had eczema as a young child but this felt like more.
I wanted answers so I started googling. As my daughters gut wasn’t right and I knew about the gut/skin link, I looked for people who specialized in food and allergy sensitivity testing. I found a lady nearby and took Zoe along. The lady had a machine with brass probes and she ran some tests.
It took three sessions but in the end, she told me that as I was breastfeeding, I would need to cut wheat, dairy, sugar and eggs from my diet. I followed a very strict diet for several weeks and the results were remarkable. The eczema started to heal. Even the GP was astounded. He said ‘I can actually see that her skin is healing rather than being suppressed’. I was very lucky to have a homeopathic doc so he was reluctant to prescribe steroid cream unless we absolutely needed to. A few months later, Zoe’s skin was as if the eczema had never been there. Her bowel function returned to normal and she started to smile again. I didn’t go back to the lady as I had no need but was very grateful for the information she was able to give after three non-invasive lots of testing.
Discovery of Asyra (now called Qest4)
Disillusion: October 2013
It’s hard to believe that anyone would become disillusioned with homeopathy but I went through a period of really feeling that my clients needed more information from me on what was actually wrong with them. I used to send them away for hair analysis testing, stool sample testing, blood testing to try and find answers to some of their questions. I was really hankering to be able to provide this information myself and spent several years wondering if I should train in another modality in order to be able to offer more than my training and practice as a homeopath, was able to give.
Then out of the blue, I received a promotional email from Qest International (previously Asyra) in Petersfield, UK, just 45 minutes from where I lived. They were offering free demos to anyone interested in their revolutionary bioresonance machine. I decided there and then to go along to see if it held the answers I needed. The demo (Oct 2013) was one hour long and I was completely awestruck by the results of the testing. The results were printed out for me to take home and also a bottle of drops to take morning and night. I got home and looked at the results. Three things struck me:
- The results looked familiar….I went to my health files and pulled out the results to the food sensitivity testing that my daughter had in 2009 – they were exactly the same! I hadn’t made the connection
- There was a flower essence that came up for me – Wild Oat with the description: For the dissatisfaction with not having succeeded in one’s career or life goal. When there is unfulfilled ambition, career uncertainty or boredom with one’s present position
- I started to feel really calm and balanced. Something had switched internally
I took the drops as instructed along with the homeopathics and supplements that the lady had suggested and went on my way. A feeling of clarity came over me and I knew in my heart that I had to have this machine to move forward with my practice.
At the time, I had no spare cash so I had to put it to the back of my mind.
Light bulb moment Oct 2014 (purchase of Asyra)
A year later, I unexpectedly came into a bit of money and knew it was time to take action. I rang the Asyra offices and set up another online demo, just to make sure that I felt the same way. Off I went for another demo, was equally taken with the device and again, took my printed results home to ponder. This time, I put the results side by side on the dining room table and noticed something quite extraordinary. The date of the two demos was exactly the same, a year apart (Oct 13th 2013 and Oct 13th 2014). Something clicked. It was like an epiphany. I knew instinctively that Qest was for me and my future as a homeopath without compromising what I know to be an amazing profession.
Bringing the Asyra to Harbord Homeopathic Clinic: The first Sydney experience October 2016
I brought the Qest4 (then Asyra) to Sydney with me two years ago (October 2016). This was when I found Linlee and the wonderful Harbord Homeopathic Clinic. I was invited to the clinic for a cup of tea as a fellow homeopath but informed that it would be unlikely I could practice there as they were full and didn’t really have a need for another English homeopath. I went along, had a nice cup of tea and then told them about my bioresonance therapy. Suddenly, the clinic opened up to me, I was lucky to replace someone who was retiring, enveloped in the safe walls of HHC and quickly became part of the team.
Sadly, I had to leave for the UK six months later but I had enjoyed giving demos to all the homeopaths so much that I decided to go back to the UK and ask to train as a trainer for Qest. I was informed that although they had enough UK based trainers, if I was ever considering going back to Sydney, they would really like someone to represent them there. I set up at their offices, trained to train and became the Aussie rep on the off chance that I would return.
Qest4 Conference: The Netherlands 2017
Just as an added treat, I was lucky enough to attend the Qest4 conference in Holland with some of my homeopathic colleagues who I had met in training. We ended up in a Dutch pub with some fellow Qest users that we didn’t know. Half way through the evening, I realised that the lady I had been sitting with all day was familiar to me and then it suddenly clicked…she was the lady who had treated my daughter 7 years prior. I was able to thank her for her help and how she had been the first step in my journey for the Qest. Everything felt complete. The loop was closed and it all felt right.
The return to Sydney: October 2018
Two years later (October 2018) I returned to HHC as Homeopath and Qest4 trainer and so far so good. I continue to marvel at the power of the machine to read the innate intelligence of the person, that which lies beneath the subconscious mind. The results astound me and my clients and I hope will continue to do so long into the future. I have now trained 7 new practitioners in the past 6 months and there is a great buzz around the machine and what it has to offer. Some of my more complex and interesting clients have included supporting lupus, lyme, chronic fatigue and deep seated grief and depression. Pre-teen and teenage emotional support is a particular interest of mine as is relationship and family dynamic stress, adrenal fatigue and thyroid imbalance. Whatever the condition, Qest4 will find the answers that lie beneath the symptoms.
Looking for patterns with Bioresonance testing
Bio-resonance is about looking at patterns of results for people to see what needs dealing with to bring them back to health. When I look at my story, my Quest for the Qest, I can see these same patterns of response leading me to my professional destiny. It feels like serendipity when I look back over the story but really, it’s all quantum physics, particles of energy affecting particles of energy in a far distant place. I know where my future lies now. I have my Qest4 and my quest is over.
Come and meet me at the clinic – for a cup of tea, a Qest4 screen (Asyra) or just a chat. The energy is amazing and you may just get the bioresonance bug…. See you soon.
As for me, I’m looking forward to October as exciting things always seem to happen for me then. I wonder what lies ahead for you…..
