Developing awareness
It is in our human nature to have good levels of resilience. We have an incredible capacity to heal all aspects of ourselves. Within our physical body, our cells regenerate all the time. Our brain develops neural pathways, and our mental state governs everything in our lives. Therefore, to have control over our responses and outcomes, we need to shift our reactions from the reptilian brain / lower brain (survival state) to the neocortex brain (thinking), so we develop our consciousness and intuitive thinking.
The question is: Have we developed our conscious and intuitive thinking or have we been living in a survival mode?
The society we live in is unbalanced and this creates all kinds of disharmony in the outer and within. What I mean is that everything that happens in the macro affects the micro (us) and vice versa because we are connected to the field. Look at what humanity has been through for thousands of years: wars (manmade disasters), natural disasters, diseases (and manmade diseases) and so forth. This undoubtably creates mess, disgrace, devastation, which then requires effort and resources to find a solution. For example:
- Disasters and trauma, create all kinds of mental and physiological diseases. These can often lead to the prescribing of medication with strong physical side affects for example affecting organ function.
- Over consumption of “junk foods” can negatively affect the entire function of our organism. This can lead to diabetes, heart diseases, allergies, and more.
- Recreating reality through social media / TV / video games / songs with negative lyrics. Disrupting the regulation of our brain function, which doesn’t help anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and autism.
- Developing weapons to fight each other, followed by rules and agreements.
Destructive relationships. It’s not always easy to filter the people we have come into our lives.
Sometimes we need to make a break in a chain reaction that has started happening. This may mean breaking bad habits and even cutting people out of our lives. People that put us down and do not add to our evolving process. It does not mean we don’t care about others. This means that we love and respect ourselves, and when we care about ourselves, we feel happy, thus we can be there for others. And as we emanate this energy, consequently and indirectly, we make others happy too.
It is human nature to attract people and situations that align to our frequency. If we are in a low vibration state, it will attract unpleasant experiences. Therefore, we need to raise our energy by doing what we love, what makes us feel ourselves, and then we shift the energy, our experiences, and the outcomes. We continue attracting situations and people to our lives until we learn to face and heal our wounds.
The factors that influence our choices and resilience
We have a false idea that we have free choice over what to eat, what to wear, what to watch, what to feel, what to be. The reality is they are already made for us. I would say that 99% of these choices are mostly unconscious (they’re subconscious programs).
What are the burdens you carry?
We carry heavy loads such as anger and pain that generally are not even ours. We take in all aspects of life that surround us and we become them. And to avoid suffering, we build several layers around us, masking our feelings and behaviours. Therefore, we disconnect from ourselves. To release our pain, we need to face our wounds and heal them all. That’s how we free ourselves.
We have been so caught up in drama and influence, we have become desensitised from who we are. So much so that many have lost their capacity to trust what they feel, to trust in themselves. This happens over generations and so we think this is how we should be and live, that this is our natural state of being; BUT IT IS NOT.
Our natural state of being is limitless, trustworthy, something that we haven’t been taught but we can become, because it is our essence. Freedom is our natural state of being. Freedom of choice, freedom of thought, freedom of expression, freedom of feeling, freedom of movement, freedom of being who we really are and the certainty of our purpose.
What is your calling? What is your purpose in this life? The answer is: who you really are. And who are you really? What are the gifts you bring to this world? This is unique, belongs exclusively to you.
It’s never too late to become the person we are here to be
We have been living in distraction from who we really are, from our potential as unlimited beings. We are so much greater than all disruption humankind has created and experienced. Even though we have learnt to live in such a disharmonious manner, our body and mind are still coping (some more than others). We have an incredible healing capacity.
Despite all disgraceful experiences, we are where we must be. We are able to learn from those experiences. How can our mental state be greater than our instincts (reptilian / lower brain)? How can we become more conscious and harness our resilience so that we can live by intuitive thinking? Thus bringing the best out of us, for ourselves and mankind.
The power is always within! It’s human nature and just needs to be uncovered.
